Wimbledon 2023 - Serena Williams Home

As Wimbledon 2023 serves us with the usual highs and lows of the world class tennis tournament, despite the so-far unfavourable weather in London this week, we take a look at some of the star-studded homes of the Tennis Elite. Bearing in mind that many of the younger players tend to live at their family home or on Tour, it is the more seasoned professionals that have purchased their celebrity homes which we have have chance to take a look around.

Starting with Serena Williams, one of the true Wimbledon greats, This seven times Wimbledon winner has taken a very simple and modern home in Miami Florida and employed her own interior design company, V Starr to use this as a blank canvas to create a truly stylish home. Quite often, and as is the case with the Novac Djokovic home which we will feature in tomorrow's news edition, the interior of these modern homes can be clinical, and albeit highly stylish, not really welcoming.

The home of Serena however gives a real flavour of what can be created with a variety of colours, textures, lighting and artwork. Beautifully furnished by Restoration Hardware the architecture of Serena's house does shout Miami but not in in a garish or opulent fashion. As we might expect the main living spaces are centred around the outdoor pool with a variety of larger glazed walls and double-storey vertical slot-windows offering views across the pool and giving the impression of a simple white monolith with punctuated windows and openings.  

Overall, of all of the Wimbledon star's homes to review, this is a great start and is going to be hard to beat!
